TROUPE:
ACT’s Troupe is an auditioned repertory group of outstanding high school students from throughout the Tri-Cities area. The group strives to continually provide the highest quality in professionalism and performance,and bring a public awareness to sensitive subjects. Past projects include festivals, competitions, educational productions and projects, dinner and dessert theatre.

Audition workshop is May 1 at 2:30pm. Auditions for this group will be on May 5 from 2-4pm.

TROUPERS:
Troupers is a auditioned 5th-8th grade drama group focused on literature based works to expand the mind and stretch the
imagination, thus allowing for optimal growth and immersion in theatre knowledge, skills, and confidence.

Auditions for this group will be on May 5 from 12-2pm.

SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION:
Spontaneous Combustion (SPC) is an audition based improve group, for youth grades 9-12, SPS (Spontaneous Sparks is for grades 5-8)  that performs throughout the community and at ACT. As a group, each strive to entertain and inform our audiences with quality fun and funny shows. The members are skilled at quick, creative and analytical thinking, character development, storytelling, and teamwork, in addition to performing at events throughout the community.

The audition preparation workshop is May 5. Arrive warmed up and in clothing that allows you to express your full range of motion.

Auditions will be held on May 12, 12-1:30p for Spontaneous Combustion and 2-3:30p for Spontaneous Sparks. Auditionees should please arrive 20 min early to reserve a time and should wear comfortable clothing in which they can express their full range of motion. Auditionees should arrive ready to move, vocally warmed-up, and ready to play a series of fun, high energy theatre games.

BEST:
BEST stands for Broadway Experience Singing Troupe where we work on all things musical theatre. If you love to sing, dance and act, this is the group for you. In the 2012/2013 season BEST and BEST jr will be auditioning and rehearsing full length musicals to be performed in the spring of 2013. Members of BEST are “triple threats” who wish to improve their performing skills while working with other actors who are just as talented as they are. In BEST we push ourselves to be better performers while having a lot of fun in the process.

BEST and BEST jr Auditions: May 16, 18 from 4-5
BEST is our high school group while BEST jr is our middle school group.
For auditions, come prepared with a minute-long song (with a recording/karaoke) and monologue to perform. Each audition will be one-on-one with Ellie and will take no more than 5 minutes. Please call ACT to make an audition appointment.
