Linda & Keith Hoffman Scholarships
ACT is excited to announce the annual Hoffman Scholarships for high school students achieving a superior level of drama, theatre, technical and backstage support.
One scholarship will be awarded for excellence in on-stage performance and another scholarship will be awarded for excellence in back-stage support.
Scholarship applicants must submit:
1. ACT Report Card
2. Theatre Resume
3. Letter of Recommendation (from a non-ACT staff/volunteer)
4. Answers these two essay questions (500 word max per question)
What tools from theatre will you take with you in your future career?
What theatre experience most impacted your life?
Applications must be submitted to info@actstaff.org by the end of Spring Break (May 1st, 2023)
The selection committee will be comprised of the ACT Board of Directors Finance Committee and Keith & Linda Hoffman. A scholarship presentation will take place at the Volunteer Appreciation Party or similar event.
