I’m so excited for auditions! I just have one question:
Are we allowed to have accompaniment music? Like on CD? Or do we have to sing a capella?
We look forward to seeing you at auditions! It really is a very fun show. Yes, you can bring accompaniment music on a cd. We also will have a piano, if you have sheet music. If the cd is only the music (no lyrics) that would be best. If not, they may have you repeat the song a capella. Hope this answers your question. See you later this week.
Hey Deb I was wondering when you guys are putting up the cast list for Shrek cause i cant find it and if you can tell me where i need to go to find the cast list that would be great thank you so much
Zach – The cast list is going up soon. It will be on the blog. Thanks for asking! Mrs. D
When will the cast list come out??
Annia
The cast list was posted on Monday. Actual parts will be assigned after Parents’ night (Tuesday, June 25). We are asking all the people who have been cast to come to Parents’ night so that we can look at the group as a whole and hear the group sing before we make final casting decisions. Also we will be taking measurements for costumes on that night. While we are working with the students, parents will be receiving information about the show and will have the opportunity to ask questions. Shrek truly is an ensemble show with a LOT of different parts. Most cast members will be more than one character which is an exciting challenge!
