Thankfully it’s not 100 degrees outside anymore, but things are sure heating up here at ACT!
With Little Mermaid going just swimmingly (tickets still available for May 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th, just click the date you want to attend!) it’s time to look ahead to summer and all it’s programs!
First off Let’s talk ACT’s Summer Educational Internship Program. This is a great way for High School students to stay involved with theatre over the summer! You will get a chance to work with the next generations of actors as well as train with one of ACT Theatre teachers! Summer Interns also get discounts on Summer Classes at ACT! Finally Let’s talk about our Amazing Spectrum on Stage program headed up by Julie Schroeder! Here’s a look at this years program for our students on the autism spectrum.
#07-44 Spectrum on Stage Summer Spectacular: Where the Wild Things Are
Gr 5 and up | Mo-Fr, July 22-Aug 2 | 2-4:30pm | this class is provided free of charge due to the generous grant from Areva
A performance camp created specifically for students on the Autism Spectrum. We will have plenty of helpers for the actors that need prompting! We don’t want any of our actors stressing about memorizing lines or remembering blocking.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS FOR OUR ACTORS TO HAVE A FUN AND SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE!
Please call the studio (509-943-6027) and talk to Julie to register your student.
That’s about it and we hope to see you soon here at ACT!
