ACT will join with The Mid-Columbia Mastersingers to present Benjamin Britten’s one-act opera for children Noye’s Fludde, featuring children’s chorus, orchestra, and welcoming baritone Michael Hix as Noah and mezzo-soprano Karen Knudsen as Noah’s Wife.
The performances will take place at Kennewick First Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 7 at 7:30pm, with a matinee Sunday, February 8 at 3:00pm. Mastersingers Artistic Director Justin Raffa will present a “Behind the Music” talk 30 minutes before each show.
This collaboration between the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers and the Academy of Children’s Theatre is made possible by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission.
